Waypoint is a smart passport designed to keep track of the deadlines, expiration dates, and alerts that may impact your U.S. visa or ESTA status. Waypoint's mission is to eliminate fear, uncertainty, and doubt from visas and passports so that you can get where you need to go. While the app is still in stealth, Concepto has worked with Waypoint's founders to go from concept to MVP through cycles of testing and iteration.
We went through moodboards and inspiration exercises with key stakeholders to define the overall look and feel of the app. The UI stands out from outdated and clunky immigration websites with its clean and contemporary look. While conveying a more modern tone, the typography and use of color suggest the seriousness of the matter and serve to establish trust with the user. Concepto created a UI style guide and component library that can be reused to create new screens as the app features continue to expand rapidly.
